The experience of the State of Qatar in the field of oil and gas was discussed at the meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC "Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding"

On December 15 Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina took part in the meeting of the Board of Directors of "Tatneftekhiminvest-holding." It was held in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. During the meeting discussed a number of proposals for the petrochemical complex of the republic. At the meeting there was a presentation of innovative products of the Danish company Rockwool for the petrochemical industry of Tatarstan, representatives of engineering and innovation center "Inzhekhim" (Kazan) reported on the development of technology for obtaining cyclopentane. This advanced product is used in the manufacture of polyurethane foam, in refrigeration equipment - as a substitute for freon. Rustam Minnikhanov, calling cyclopentane new popular product, authorized the company "TAIF" to assist in the development of this project. Much attention was paid to the review of the experience of the state of Qatar in the field of oil and gas, it was told by "Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding" CEO Rafinat Yarullin. Tatarstan delegation, which included TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina, visited Doha, capital of Qatar, on 7th and 8th December. There an agreement was signed between the chambers of commerce of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Tatarstan. Speaking at a round table, where participated the Head of the Qatar Investment Management, the Head of the Chamber of Commerce of Qatar Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Tovar Al Kuwari and representatives of business circles of Arab State, TIDA Chief Executive in detail told about the economy, industry, perspective niches for investment, noting that Tatarstan is developing on the basis of the Republican strategy 2030, with particular emphasis on high-tech industries. Rustam Minnikhanov under the impression of the trip to Qatar said that our petrochemical complex also need to develop their own processing, especially gas chemistry, to leave more added value at home. The Board also returned to the question about the use by large petrochemical companies of products of enterprises established by societies of the disabled. This topic has been discussed in April this year. Rustam Minnikhanov recommended CEOs to maintain orders for disabled, so that their work will allow them to socialize and to earn money by themselves. He instructed to prepare concrete proposals and submit a list of the relevant companies of the fuel and energy complex.
