Taliya Minullina: "The municipal authority is the closest to the public"

Today, December 25, Chairman of the Republican Export Corporation, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina took part in the X Assembly of the Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was held in the "Korston", it was attended by top officials of the republic, deputies of the State Duma and Federation Council members, members of the Government of Tatarstan, delegates from all municipalities. Welcoming speech were made by President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov. He briefed the participants on the financial and economic results of 2015, noted that the assembly of municipalities is an efficient and necessary body that brings together all the delegates and expressed his gratitude for their joint work. The keynote address was made by Chairman of the Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan Minsagit Shakirov. He reported on the work of the Council of municipalities in 2015. He noted the complex of the most important tasks of municipalities, spoke about the problems in the housing sector, matters of financial security powers entrusted to the municipal authorities, the relations of local governments with regulatory authorities, the content and the development of rural infrastructure and small business support in places. It is important to note that many delegates came to the traditional annual meeting in high spirits. Before the start of the assembly passed the annual awarding ceremony of the Republican contest among municipalities, established by the Council of the Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov personally handed the keys of one hundred new work cars and minibuses to the winners. They were given to the winners of the competition of the 93 municipalities and 7 municipal institutions of two urban districts of the republic. "On the eve of the assembly, on the eve of the New Year we have a good tradition - to sum up the past year. Today we present cars that are in fact very necessary for the mobility of our municipal leaders," said Rustam Minnikhanov. "The municipal authority is the closest to the public. From it depends the solving issues that concern people, and determine the quality of their daily lives: the beautification, the development of social infrastructure, regularizing in the housing. The Agency works hard with the municipal and urban districts, we make investment projects together. At the end of the year we wish our colleagues to be more active in 2016. Creative, hard work and positive energy of thee representatives of the authorities, aimed at achieving economic success of municipalities, is capable for growth of the well-being of each Tatarstan resident," said Taliya Minullina.
