Taliya Minullina: “What kind of road will lead investors to us?”

29 January 2016, Friday

Today Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina participated in the extended meeting of the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan. Among the distinguished guests was Maksim Sokolov, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, Igor Levitin,
personal assistant to the President, Evgeniy Moskvichev, the Chairperson of the State Duma Transport Committee.

Lenar Safin, minister of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan, informed that funding of road traffic complex of Tatarstan amounted to 36 172.8 million rubles, including 25 050.5 million rubles from the republican budget.

It was noted with sadness that according to forecasts about 2187.2 thousand people were serviced by such air harbors as airports “Kazan”, “Begishevo” and “Bugulma” in 2015, 9.2% less than in 2014 (2408.6 thousand people). The reasons are: adverse changes in foreign policy and foreign economic situation, currency increases and volatility, decline in activity on foreign tourist destination.

In addition to the construction and repair of the federal and regional roads, Innopolis transport accessibility to access highway M-7 “Volga” – Vvedenskaya Sloboda – Innopolis (P3) and M-7 “Volga” – Innopolis was provided.

Well - developed transport infrastructure for attracting investors in Tatarstan is like an ace card in our hands. And we should take advantage of it.  We must propose to investors what neighbors don’t have. To choose right way their road should be perfect in both literal and figurative sense both in convenience and comfort of a road junctions and covering as well as in lack of bureaucratic “hummocks”, “fissures” in “lost in translation” and “potholes” of high taxation. Don`t you agree, that in order to achieve your goal as soon as possible, you will choose not  thick wild areas, but a high-speed motorway” – said Taliya Minullina.
