«As our investors – American businessmen told us, over 40% of cyberattacks in North America are directed in particular against oil, energy and resource sectors. Perpetrators of cyberattacks seek financial advantage or competitive advantage; they steal intellectual property and geologic exploration data. Therefore, it would be unreasonable to save on cybersecurity. Expenditure cut is the fastest way for companies to reduce cost of price and maintain inner financial health. But it is difficult to imagine that responsible energy company will make significant cuts in security area. As Tatarstan President noted, this issue will become more and more sensitive from year to year. That is why, I think that our proactive approach in training specialists competent in IT-security will certainly achieve the result» - thinks Taliya Minullina.
