Linar Yakupov Met with the Representative of Business New Europe

Today Chief Executive of TIDA Linar Yakupov met with the representative of Business New Europe popular and authoritative business magazine. The problems concerning investment development of Tatarstan Republic were the main issues discussed in the meeting. According to Linar Yakupov, there are two main functions of the Agency. The first one is contributing to the development of small and middle-size entrepreneurship and creating a favourable investment climate in Tatarstan, and the second function is attracting local and foreign investments in Tatarstan.

The representative of Business New Europe said that Tatarstan is an example of a region succeeded in the attraction of investments. Particular attention was paid to the discussion of such large-scale projects as Alabuga Open Economic Zone, Technopolis Himgrad, Master Kama Industrial Park and so on.

Moreover, Tatarstan Republic beneficial geographical location, which is one of the main factors for the investors, was mentioned by the participants of the meeting.

As Linar Yakupov said:

 “A huge number of trade routes are running through our Republic. Therefore, we need to improve our roads. This will give us new opportunities for cooperation with other countries and regions. Also, it is very significant to implement huge infrastructure projects as an impulse for investment attraction. ”

According to Linar Yakupov, Tatarstan Investment Agency should provide the efficient support to local and international investors on a “one-stop centre” system.
