Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and the Association of Russian and Turkish businessmen signed a cooperation agreement on November 27, 2014. Document was signed by the Head of the association Naki Karaaslan and Agency’s Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.

The event was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in the Russian Federation Umit Yardym, Head of RTIB Naki Karaaslan and more than 300 representatives of the Turkish business.

The signing ceremony was held immediately after the presentation of Tatarstan to the Association of Russian and Turkish businessmen in Moscow. "We are pleased to expand our relationship, I think today's signing of a cooperation agreement between the Association of Russian and Turkish businessmen and Tatarstan Investment Development Agency will contribute to this", - said Rustam Minnikhanov.

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina attended a meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC "Tatneftekhiminvest-holding" (Russia) under the chairmanship of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, which examined the issues of strategic development of the republic’s economy.

During the meeting presentations were made by E&Y (Ernst&Young, a British auditing and consulting company) representative Alexander Oliveir, telling about current trends in the global oil and gas industry.

With the delegation of the Indonesian province of West Sumatra, headed by Governor Irvan Praitno President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met on November 26. The meeting, held in the Kazan Kremlin, was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.

Among the perspective areas of cooperation Mr. Minnikhanov noted trade and economic cooperation, education, student exchange, tourism, cooperation in innovation and sports.

 Tatarstan Investment Development Agency jointly with the State Corporation "Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)" and JSC "Federal Center for Project Finance" held a seminar on "The organization of public-private partnerships in the Volga Federal Region" on 26 November 2014.

The seminar was attended by about 70 representatives of state and local governments, development institutions and the business community of the seven regions of the Volga region (Republic of Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Mordovia, Chuvashia republic, Saratov and Ulyanovsk region).

Opening the seminar, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina underscored the importance of public-private partnership to solve the problems of creation and modernization of the state and municipal infrastructure and implementation of social policy.

Among the speakers were experts of Vnesheconombank divisions, experts from leading consulting organizations and companies with experience implementing investment projects with financial participation of Vnesheconombank.

In the seminar discussed various aspects of public-private partnership: the legal, organizational economic aspects, discussed the basic usage of PPP models. On the example of PPP projects implemented in St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod region, highlighted issues of projects tracking.

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and the State Corporation «Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs» (Vnesheconombank) on November 26, 2014 will hold a seminar on «The organization of public-private partnerships in the Volga Federal Region» within the educational project «Training of specialists-participants in investment projects implemented with the assistance of development institutions».

The seminar will be attended by experts from relevant authorities of the region, representatives of the business community, as well as municipalities, planning projects using public-private partnership (PPP).

12 representatives of the Chinese manufacturer from 31 October to mid-November will perform technical engineering of Haier production areas in the territory of KIP «Master».

The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the two-day visit to the capital of Colombia – Bogota – is headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The agreements were signed during the work of the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by Rustam Minnikhanov on the 32th Havana International Fair FIHAV.
