Issues of entrepreneurship support and creation of special infrastructure for development of small and medium-size business were discussed at a meeting with participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, Deputy chairman of State corporation “Bank for development and foreign economic activity” (Vnesheconombank) Mikhail Kopeikin, Director of Department for small and medium-size entrepreneurship of RF Ministry of Economic Development Natalia Larionova.

President RT R.N. Minnikhanov was on a working trip in Aktanysh region of RT on 1 December, 2011. Head of Republic was accompanied by Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov.

Within the trip RT President and Linar Yakupov visited the aggregative plant producing spare parts for KAMAZ.

The plant was established on May, 2006 by the regional administration on the basis of a bankrupt enterprise dealt with farming machinery. The purpose of a plant establishment was the implementation of an investment project on production of alloy brake pads for Kamaz.

«Small and Middle-Size Business. Contribution to the New Economy» II Annual Forum  was held in Moscow on 30 November, 2011.  Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov made a presentation about cooperation between Tatarstan Republic and MSP Bank.

The event was organized by JSC MSP Bank (Small and Middle-Size Entrepreneurship Support Bank of Russia).

III convention of RT entrepreneurs opened today in the first exhibition hall of “Kazanskaya Yarmarka”. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, RT Premier Ildar Khalikov, chiefs of republican ministries and departments, and about 1000 businessmen took part in the event.

Before opening the convention Tatarstan President looked over the exhibition representing production of small and medium-size republican enterprises and banking programs of business crediting.

Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov took part in Brasil Tech Russia 2011 Conference, which was devoted to technical achievements of Brazil and opportunities for further cooperation between Brazil and Russia. The event was organized by Apex-Brasil Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency and Embassy of Brazil in the Russian Federation.

There was a meeting on cooperation of small and middle-size entrepreneurship with large enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan. Meeting was held by Deputy Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Liana Saetova. Large enterprises were presented by such companies as Tatneft, Kamaz and other large companies.

At the beginning of the meeting Deputy Director of Kamaz Development Ildar Gilfanov said that there are 126 companies providing outsourcing services.

Today Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov met with President of Malaysian Exporters Association Abdul Kabur Ibrahim. Opportunities for cooperation in the sphere of halal products export and education services were discussed in the meeting. Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov emphasized that for many Middle East and South-East countries Tatarstan is a good platform to enter Russian business market. Well-developed infrastructure, convenient and well-equipped sides for doing business, government support – all of these are the main benefits of doing business in Tatarstan.

The main goal of the event is to provide information about study opportunities in Malaysia and about its education system. Moreover, visitors will be able to get consultations on choosing the university and profession, and also, get detailed information on undergraduate and postgraduate programs, language schools, summer courses and enrollment process.

Among the participants of the II Malaysian Education Fair there will be representatives of Malaysia Management and Science University, SEGi University College, Malaysia Multimedia University, University Technology Malaysia and Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. Also, there will be representatives of the Ministry of Education of Malaysia.
