Today within the "Day of Russian regions" in Harbin Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina held a presentation of trade-economic and investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan for the business circles of Russia, China and the Asia-Pacific region.

The event was part of the Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair (the Russian-Chinese Expo 2015).

Also TIDA Chief Executive acquainted Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Rogozin and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan with the work of Tatarstan pavilion, which is presented as part of the Russian exposition at the Harbin exhibition and congress center.

The development of inter-regional cooperation - is a reliable mechanism for strengthening the strategic Chinese-Russian relations noted the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, the Vice-premier of the State Council Wang Yan with the heads of regions and companies of Russia and China.

Today was signed an agreement on the establishment of Tatarstan-China Foundation for development of agriculture (Tatarstan Agro-Chinese Investment Fund). Document was signed by TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina and Jinggong International Group Co. LTD (China) CEO Mr. Liu Huanlin.

Today during a visit to China Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina attended a meeting of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province Lu Hao. The event was held in Harbin – an administrative center of the province.

Welcoming the delegation of the region of the Russian Federation, Mr. Lu Hao said: "I know the status of Tatarstan in Russia very well". During the meeting Lu Hao presented the economic potential of the region: it has a good basis for environmentally friendly agriculture, developing science and education (more than 80 universities and research centers) working powerful industrial enterprises, many of which were created with the participation of Soviet specialists.

In the province there are a number of specialized economic zones (including the development of new and high-tech industry zone, cross-border economic cooperation zone in the Heihe and others). The leading industries in the region are engineering, petrochemicals, energy and food industry. Livestock, fisheries, olericulture are developed. The province has a large reserve of resources: oil, marble, basalt, graphite and others.

Rustam Minnikhanov, after thanking his colleague for the kind words, noted that cooperation between the two regions has great potential and emphasized: "We need to raise our relations to a qualitatively new level". As the most perspective areas, along with trade and economic cooperation, President called such areas as science, education, culture, sport and tourism. In particular, the head of the Tatarstan delegation recalled the need to preserve the history uniting nations and peoples: "This year we have restored the house-museum of Lenin. This is the history and we must preserve it".

Rustam Minnikhanov proposed to prepare a cooperation agreement between the Republic of Tatarstan and the provinces of Heilongjiang, which reflects the entire spectrum of cooperation: "We need to exchange delegations, who will work within the framework of the most perspective areas of cooperation".

At the end of the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov invited the leadership and the business community in Heilongjiang Province to visit Tatarstan.

Turkish company KASTAMONU, investing in Tatarstan, has shipped to China the first batch of laminate flooring, produced at the plant in the SEZ "Alabuga".

Earlier KASTAMONU began supplying products to the European Union, the Commonwealth of Independent States. The company has European CE quality certificate and FSC environmental certificate, allowing KASTAMONU look with optimism to the markets of the European Union.

Since the launch of the wood processing plant in "Alabuga" more than 7 million m² of laminate flooring TM «Floorpan»was made and shipped to customers. The estimated capacity of the laminate is 20 million sq. m, and in the long term the company must reach these amounts in 2016. Also after the launch of the second stage of the plant at the beginning of 2016 the production capacity of MDF/HDF will exceed 1 million cubic meters per year.

Today held a ceremony devoted to the beginning of implementation of the investment project to build a plant for the production of juices with the logistics center of the Azerbaijani company Benkons Group. The event was held on the territory of Laishevsky region of Tatarstan (Sokury village).

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, opening the ceremony, said that the investment project is quite large and has no analogues in Russia, focused on the sale of products not only in the republic but also in neighboring regions. "I hope in 2017 we'll be drinking the juices produced in this plant", - said Rustam Minnikhanov.

 On Wednesday, October 7, at Laishevskiy municipal region of Tatarstan (Sokury village) wil be a ceremony devoted to the beginning of realization of the investment project to build a plant for the production of juices and the logistics center of the Benkons Group Azerbaijani company Beginning at 10-00.

The event will be attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Provisional agreement on the implementation of the project was reached during the visit of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina to the Azerbaijan Republic in December, 2014. On February 3, 2015 at the Board of the Agency this project was presented to the President of Tatarstan, and was signed a cooperation agreement between the company and TIDA.

The plant will specialize in the production of natural juices from organic fruit.

The volume of investment in the project in Tatarstan will exceed 4 billion rubles. The minimum project capacity - 53,856,000 liters per year. As a result of the localization of the brand in Tatarstan will be created more than 250 direct jobs.

It is planned that the plant and logistics center will start work in early 2017.
