Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina today at the meeting with the Representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation and abroad made a presentation. Videoconference held Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov.
The meeting reviewed the work of Representations for 2015, the results of major international events. The participants also acquainted with the tasks of the Representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan abroad and in the Russian Federation in the field of development of trade-economic and investment cooperation in 2016.
The meeting was repeatedly emphasized that Tatarstan – is export-oriented republic: 50% of production is exported. And in her report Taliya Minullina emphasized on working with Representations, the kind of assistance from Tatarstan Investment Development Agency in their difficult activity, creating strong links to the global economic community.
"We understand the importance of the Tatarstan representative offices in Russia and abroad. Therefore, we actively cooperate with them in China, Finland, Switzerland, USA, Qatar, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. Much joint work carried out with representative offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg. However, I want to note that the Agency conducts its activities in countries where there is still no Tatarstan representative offices: Japan, Korea, Singapore, Israel, India and Malaysia. In addition, at the request of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2016 a representative office of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency to be opened in China. So the prospects for the future are clear - it is necessary to expand the presence of Tatarstan abroad, to more closely acquaint the world community with the possibilities of our republic. And it can be done only with the assistance of our Representatives.
It is important to note that the agreements reached during negotiations with prospective investors, and the projects under the existing investors are largely the result of our joint work with the Representations," shared her opinion Taliya Minullina.
