During «The automotive industry and the development of supporting industries» roundtable Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Head of support and monitoring of investment projects Arthur Nigmatulin presented the region's potential as a platform where can develop the production of automotive components.
Discussion was moderated by the Department of Transport and special auto construction Director in Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexander Morozov, the multilateral trading system department of trade policy CEO in Japan Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Sigehiro Tanaka. Sigehiro Tanaka told the participants about the current situation and prospects of investment cooperation between Japan and Russia in the automotive field.

VI Russian-Japanese Investment Forum, held on March 19, 2014 in Tokyo, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation together with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, with the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, «St. Petersburg International Economic Forum» Fund and «Business Russia» Russian public organization.
