Plant of animal protein production "Saria Bio-Industries Volga" is the first factory of German concern in Russia. It was founded on the SEZ "Alabuga" in 2011.
The new plant will process animal raw materials for the purpose of disposal and receiving two key products - feed meal and technical and feed animal grease. Up to 1000 km radius of collecting materials is intended to cover almost the entire territory of the Volga Federal District. 115 thousand tons of raw materials will produce 11.5 million tons of animal grease and 28.7 thousand tons of meat-and-bone meal per year.

Issues of cooperation between Tatarstan Export Corporation and TransLogix discussed yesterday at a meeting in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. Master Chemicals Nalco Champion, a leader in Russia's oilfield chemical industry, today celebrated the opening of its new research and development center and regional headquarters in Kazan, Tatarstan. In addition to office space for the company's 65 local employees, the 21,500-square-foot facility houses 4,000 square feet of laboratory space for oilfield chemical research and the development of solutions for the benefit of other industries in Russia. April 30, current year at the III Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) in Dubai in the presence of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, was signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Kazan Smart City project. It was signed between Tatarstan Development Corporation and TGIC (Tatarstan Gulf Investment Company). Tatarstan Gulf Investment Company, which is founded by a group of investment companies of the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, established in 2013 for bringing an another investment companies of the Middle East to the project.
The project, first phase of which values 3.7 billion rubles, was presented at the Tatarstan-Turkish business forum.
