The meeting was attended by TIDA Deputy Chief Executive Insaf Galiyev, TIDA Head of investment promotion Wyatt Ford, TIDA Head of development and examination of investment projects department Guzel Mullayarova, Deputy Minister of Health Farida Yarkaeva, Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov and representatives of DePuy Synthes Johnson & Johnson.
Tatarstan Development Corporation is an operator of the Kazan Smart City, where will be created a medical cluster. There is scheduled opening of training medical clinics, medical technology park and research center.
Presentation of a new investment platform of Tatarstan was held in the framework of the XV International building Forum on an international scientific-practical conference "Tatarstan - area of energy-efficient construction."
Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov presented the Kazan Smart City project. Bulat Gayanov noted that Kazan Smart City will be the leading project, using energy-efficient building technologies. He also underscored that these technologies has already began its implementation in the project.

Today, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan opened the International Transport and Logistics Forum "Creation and development of an integrated international transport and logistics system: prospects and realities," which will be held on September 13-14.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The forum is attended by representatives of the federal government, the subjects of the Russian Federation and major enterprises of Russia and abroad.
International Transport and Logistics Forum in Kazan opened the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov. Transport Minister said that the export of transport services in Russia in 2012 increased to 16% and amount $ 17 billion. Maxim Sokolov noted that a special role in the development of the transport and logistics sector plays the Russian logistics.

The annual World Economic Forum (WEF) of new leaders, also known as the "Summer Davos", was opened in the Chinese city of Dalian. Summer Davos held in China since 2007. Forum 2013 is the fourth.
