Today, at the site of the international economic forum in St. Petersburg, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan and its head Taliya Minullina and the National Agency for Investment and Privatization of the Republic of Belarus, represented by its director Dmitry Krasovsky.
“This agreement will only strengthen the already established mutually beneficial relations between Tatarstan and Belarus. It determines the mutual intentions of the parties in terms of increasing the investment attractiveness of both parties, attracting investments for implementation both on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan and on the territory of Belarus, and also contains a large block of interaction in information and analytical support, the development of PPP mechanisms and participation in joint educational and practical activities ", - shared Taliya Minullina.
In 2020, the foreign trade turnover amounted to $ 870 million, of which Tatarstan's exports to the Republic of Belarus $ 678 million in the field of food products, mineral fuels, inorganic chemicals, organic chemical compounds, detergents, plastics and products from them: rubber, rubber and wood products, land vehicles and optical and measuring instruments; imports to Tatarstan from the Republic of Belarus - $ 191.9 million in the field of meat and dairy products, mineral fuels and oil products, plastics, textiles, ferrous metal products, nuclear equipment, electrical equipment and land vehicles.
