Round table "Geneva Readings of the Sustainable Development Goals"
The head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, Taliya Minullina, took part in a round table held in Switzerland, "Geneva SDG Readings: Implementation of the 2030 Agenda in a New Reality".
Taliya Minullina in her speech spoke about how Tatarstan positions the Sustainable Development Goals of the region in its policy of economy and work with the population.
“The 2030 Agenda, among other things, carries with it the development of green technologies and the ESG agenda. And here I would like to remind you that at the end of last year Tatarstan took the first line among all regions of Russia in terms of work with the ESG agenda. This is a merit not only of the regional government, but also of companies that develop internal work in these areas, ”Taliya Minullina noted in her report.
Welcoming words at this session were also made by Tatiana Valovaya, UN Director General in Geneva, Gennady Gatilov, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Office, as well as a number of regional representatives of the Russian ministries of economic development.
