Congress "Polymers of Russia and the CIS 2021"
Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina spoke today at the first session of the Congress "Polymers of Russia and the CIS 2021". The head of the department told the participants and guests of the conference about world trends, new challenges and trends in the Russian market of polymers and polyethylene.
“The main topic in the heads of both business and society at the moment is healthcare. In the field of medical polymers, the main challenges today are the strict regulatory framework for medical devices. In the future, the volume of the world market for medical polymers will reach $ 28 billion with an annual growth rate of 8% until 2028, experts say, ”Taliya Minullina said in her report.
The head of the Agency also spoke about the share of Tatarstan producers in the domestic polyethylene production of such companies as Kazanorgsintez (40% in the Russian production market) and Nizhnekamskneftekhim.
Speakers of the first session, including representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Sibur, Gazprombank and others, in their speeches also focused on the topic of polymer and polyethylene processing, the polypropylene market, the protection of Russian manufacturers from global risks and labor productivity here and abroad.
