Investment digest of the Republic of Tatarstan: “investment hour” with Zainsky district
Zainsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan reported on the implementation of measures to ensure sustainable socio-economic development within the framework of the republican meeting chaired by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
Such meetings are held on a weekly basis in the Government House of the Republic. The report of the head of the district examines the main indicators of the district's activity, the development of industries, the state of entrepreneurship, the level of wages and unemployment, the pace of construction of social infrastructure and housing, education, and achievements in a variety of areas.
The head of the Zainsky district, Razif Karimov, said that the main indicator of the district’s activity is the value of the gross territorial product, which at the end of 2022 exceeded 68.5 billion rubles. Growth dynamics compared to the previous year - 115%.
Over the past year, more than 6 billion rubles have been invested in the region's economy, with an increase of 127% compared to the previous year.
Industrial park "Progress" has been accredited. Today there are 3 residents located there, at the stage of completing work on transferring land and changing the permitted type of activity.
It is planned to attract two more residents with investment projects worth 65 million rubles.
At the approval stage at the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, a project of municipal-private partnership with the KamaTrak company for a roadside service facility is underway, preserving the functions of the city bus station for the municipality. The cost of the project is 25 million rubles.
Among the investments made by local entrepreneurs are projects for the construction of a shopping center with an area of almost 800 square meters, the construction of a commercial facility for the sale of their own products and the creation of a public catering area.
The phased reconstruction of the ski slope of the Fedotovo sports and business complex continues. The investor has already invested about 270 million rubles in infrastructure. The issues of replacing the chair lift with a capacity of up to 1,800 people have not yet been resolved; the cost of the project is 250 million rubles.
Modernization is expected at the Zainsky brick factory. The immediate plans include the construction of a new workshop for the production of clinker bricks with a capacity of 30 million pieces per year. Currently, design work and land registration are underway. Investments will amount to over 300 million rubles.
The final, II stage of installation of gas cleaning equipment has been completed. The company was the first in the region to introduce a unique regenerative thermal oxidation unit, which made it possible to utilize 98% of the Techno plant's atmospheric emissions.
At the same time, the project allows for the reuse of thermal energy, which significantly reduces natural gas consumption and reduces the carbon footprint by up to 10-15%. A total of 170 million rubles of investment were allocated for these purposes.
