Now free legal assistance can be obtained through the state electronic service of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation
The Republic of Tatarstan has been designated as a pilot for the regional segment of the Unified State Portal of Legal Education and Free Legal Assistance. The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. On December 20, 2022, the portal began operating in the Republic of Tatarstan in pilot mode.
Through the portal, citizens can sign up for free legal assistance, get acquainted with legal documents and news, and subsequently will be able to receive legal assistance electronically. The portal will ensure efficiency, transparency, quality and convenience of receiving free legal assistance.
What does the portal allow?
— get legal advice by phone
— send a written question to qualified lawyers to receive a written answer
— make an appointment with the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan
— receive up-to-date legal information on the most popular life situations.
Any citizen can use the portal to receive free legal assistance and up-to-date legal information. To do this you need to do the following:
1. Log in to your personal account on the portal through State Services (gosuslugi.ru).
2. Select the section “Applying for legal assistance” and click the “Submit an appeal” button.
3. Next, fill in personal information based on your situation.
4. Select, if available, a preferential category that is entitled to receive free legal assistance.
5. Indicate the content of the appeal, the type of legal assistance, the desired format of interaction with you and make an appointment
