Investments ensure Tatarstan's leadership in innovation!

The Republic of Tatarstan has been recognized as one of the three most innovative regions in Russia according to the ninth edition of the annual rating of innovative development of the subjects of the Russian Federation, which is compiled by the Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.

The overall assessment of the region is calculated based on five main criteria - Tatarstan is the absolute leader in two indices - "Innovation Activity" and "Quality of Innovation Policy".

Leadership in the value of the "Innovation Activity" index was achieved due to the high level of activity and effectiveness of innovative business, positive dynamics of the level of innovative activity of large and medium-sized businesses and a consistently high share of innovative products of large and medium-sized organizations.

The authors of the report emphasize that leadership in these indicators was achieved due to significant investments by enterprises in the implementation of innovative activities.
