The Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan was visited by a delegation of a company from Shaanxi Province engaged in the production of equipment for work in the field of oil refining with a business mission. Firstly, the guests visited the Unified Presentation Center of TIDA, and then met with the head of the Agency Taliya Minullina.
She welcomed the delegation and congratulated them on the main state holiday of China – the Day of Formation of the People's Republic of China.
The chairman of the company, Mr. Wang Thang, outlined the main objectives of the delegation's stay in Tatarstan:
1) Get to know the region better;
2) Find common ground for cooperation;
3) To sell products in Tatarstan;
He also presented the capability and achievements of production to the employees of TIDA, demonstrating an introductory video in Russian.
"It was a very interesting and useful video for us, because, firstly, it was in Russian. We understood that you want to work in Russia, taking into account the quality of the prepared material. I really liked that your company pays great attention to innovation, science, and specifically to development. It is very close to Tatarstan, we also work a lot with science. Thirdly, I really liked that you are engaged in low-carbon activities. This is what our oil companies are also passionate about today. The video also said that you work for sales in thirty countries of the world – this is also a very good indicator of the competitiveness of equipment," Taliya Minullina shared her impressions of the video.
She noted that before starting negotiations on localization of production, it is necessary to understand the market for industrial products in Russia: "It will be good if we can make a presentation of your equipment for our oil companies. And if there is any cooperation in terms of general scientific research or training, it would also be very valuable for us."
In response, Mr. Wang Hong noted that the company has already concluded agreements with several regions of Russia. He also expressed his intention to present the company's stand and conclude a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic and through it with TATNEFT at the business forum "SPROUTS: Russia-China – mutually beneficial cooperation", as well as to create a joint research center with Kazan Federal University.

On the same day, September 24, the head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, Taliya Minullina, took part in a meeting with the Rais of Tatarstan and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation, Mr. Zhang Hanhui.
The delegation of the People's Republic of China, headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation, Mr. Zhang Hanhui, was in Kazan on a working visit (September 25-25, 2024).
The parties discussed issues such as strengthening existing and expanding new business contacts, mutually beneficial cooperation, issues of mutual settlements and logistics, preparations for the BRICS Summit and the SPROUTS business forum.
