Tatarstan Representations: focusing on investment activities

Today with representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting under the supervision of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Tatarstan Ministries, Tatarstan Development Corporation and the Tatarstan Export Corporation.

Today Tatarstan has 21 offices in the Russian Federation and abroad, including Kazakhstan, Turkey, France, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and other countries.
Opening the meeting,
Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov underscored TIDA’s activities.

During the meeting was noted that "according to the Program of socio- economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2011-2015, the volume of foreign direct investment per capita is expected to grow to $ 1,500 by the end of 2015 (in 2012 the figure was 151 U.S. dollars)".
To achieve this goal, noted TIDA Chief Executive, is necessary, in particular, to strengthen the work with the
representatives. Representatives also work in promoting Tatarstan export potential. About this mission told Tatarstan Export Corporation Deputy CEO Ildar Abdrahmanov.

Tatarstan, working with investors, identified specific niches: chemical and petrochemical industry, construction and building materials, agriculture, food industry, medicine and pharmaceuticals, information technology and telecommunications, halal industry, services and tourism.
TIDA First Deputy Chief Executive Robert Galiullin told about the program of seminars for next year, which will be held at the offices of the Republic of Tatarstan. The representative of the Trade and Economic Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Nigmedzyanov in the United States, speaking about seminars, noted the importance of such events.

During the meeting, to the representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan abroad and in the regions of the Russian Federation were also presented key performance indicators (KPI) and reviewed proposals for improving the interaction between the Agency and representatives in the field of improvement investment.
