The day before, a large government delegation from the Republic of Zimbabwe visited the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency on a familiarization visit. The head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, Taliya Minullina, introduced the high-ranking guests to the investment and economic potential of Tatarstan. The republic's partners actively asked pressing questions at the end of the presentation. Thus, the Minister for Women, Local Communities, Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development, Monica Mutsvangwa, was interested in the topic of agricultural development in Tatarstan, in particular, milk production technology.
Then the delegation members moved to the conference hall for a business meeting with the management of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. During the dialogue, the representatives of the Republic of Zimbabwe were interested in the methods of attracting investment that the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency uses in practice on a daily basis.
The Minister for Women, Local Communities, Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development, Monica Mutsvangwa: "Thank you for your dedication. Today you mentioned many things that are important to us. Our relations are improving and I think Zimbabwe needs to deepen trade with Tatarstan, especially in the food sector. You shared with us something critically important – your president’s position on food security. What you are doing is attracting people to invest in Tatarstan. At this point, what we need to do is increase trade between our republics. We need to look at what we have. Zimbabwe is a very rich republic. Listening to you, I understand that our investment agency (ZIDA) has a lot to learn from you (TIDA), for example, how you attract investment. We are very grateful that the President of Tatarstan instructed you to draw up a business program and meet with us.”

One of the main results of the meeting was the successful building of bridges between the Zimbabwean authorities and the TIDA RT, in particular with the Zimbabwe Investment Development Agency. Plans have also been outlined for a visit of business industry delegations from the republic to Tatarstan. In addition, Taliya Minullina invited the guests to participate in the international economic forum "Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum-2025".
We remind you that before the delegation's visit to the TIDA RT, the guests of Kazan met with the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Taliya Minullina was also present at the meeting.
