"Naberezhnye Chelny makes a huge contribution to the development of the republic," said Rais Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting of the city council of the automobile city. The state of the city's economy is characterized by the volume of attracted investments, which at the end of the year is estimated at 91.5 billion rubles. It is important that in recent years there has been a growth dynamic for this indicator. In this matter, as noted by the mayor of the city Nail Magdeev, the city is actively working together with the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. A significant contribution to the city's economy is made by residents of the advanced development territory (ADT). There are 50 of them today. Capital investments of residents amounted to 39 billion rubles. 10,692 new jobs were created. According to all key indicators, there is an increase from 14 to 37% by 2023. In 2024, six more new residents were registered. The amount of investments amounted to 2.3 billion rubles. The amount of taxes paid by ADT residents to all budget levels exceeded the amount of preferences provided by 2.4 times. An important event was the opening of a water heater manufacturing plant in the Haier industrial park, where the most modern world-class technologies were implemented. In total, the company built 7 facilities, including 6 factories and a dormitory for 900 people. RUB 35 billion were invested in the city's economy. It is also important that current residents are increasing their previously planned indicators, introducing new types of products and creating additional jobs. All planned indicators for 2024 have been fully met. All this suggests that a favorable investment climate has been created in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. Thus, the growth in the number of new industries leads to positive dynamics of the share of residents in the volume of shipped products in the city. Since 2016, it has grown to almost 16%.
