Lao elephants will become an investment in Kazan Zoo

Taliya Minullina took part in the meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with Prime Minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Sonsats Siphandon in the Kazan Kremlin. 

The Prime Minister heads the Lao delegation to the Russia-ASEAN summit. 
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that last year marked the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Laos and Russia. In honor of this, the President of Laos presented two elephants to the President of Russia. The country's leadership decided to transfer the animals to the Kazan Zoo.

"This is a great and valuable gift to all residents and guests of our city. I ask you to convey our sincere gratitude to the President of Laos," said Rais.
