Mr. NEO Ek Beng Mark, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Singapore to the Russian Federation, visited the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan today. This is not his first visit, the last one took place quite recently, in April, as part of a delegation of diplomatic missions of foreign countries. In addition, the ambassador was invited to the KazanForum-2026.
Taliya Minullina introduced the distinguished guest to the work of the Unified Presentation Center, including the new robot that greets visitors. She also talked about the achievements, awards, and plans of the Agency. "Tatarstan and Singapore are old friends," Taliya Minullina emphasized. She invited the ambassador to participate in the upcoming international forums "SPROUTS", "TIME". The parties also discussed the exchange of experience between the countries in the development of urban infrastructure, transport, and waste recycling.
By the end of 2025, investments from the Republic of Singapore to the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to $40.8 million in the field of trade. After the meeting with the head of the Agency, the Ambassador visited the exhibition "Made in Tatarstan", which continues its work in the renovated Central Department Store.
