Hungary delegation visits Tatarstan

Tomorrow in Kazan «Shalyapin Palace Hotel» will held Tatarstan-Hungarian business forum. The event will be moderated by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive.

Hungarian delegation headed by Secretary for International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Prime Minister of Hungary, State Secretary Peter Siyarto. The delegation includes the representatives of public management structures of the country and the business community.

Today, during the first day of the visit to the region, delegates met with the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Ageev and Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil Samigullin.

In Tatarstan Investment Development Agency held a meeting of the First Deputy Agency Chief Executive Robert Galiullin with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Hungary in Russian Federation Istvan Iydyarto and Head of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Hungary György Palashti.

The meeting was also attended by Agency’s Head of support and monitoring of investment projects Arthur Nigmatulin, Agency’s Head of the Public Private Partnership Sergey Golovin, Tatarstan Export Corporation First Deputy CEO Ildar Abdrahmanov and Tatarstan Development Corporation Deputy CEO Jawdat Akhmanov.

The parties discussed the investment potential of the region and implemented projects in the republic - Kazan Smart City and Innopolis. Also were presented the eight priority areas of Tatarstan, SEZ «Alabuga» SEZ «Innopolis», industrial sites and parks of the republic.

György Palashti in response shared information on the activities of the Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency (Hung abbr.: HITA), initiated by the Government of Hungary. On the basis of the adopted law department management provides the Prime Minister in the person of State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations, working in the Office of the Prime Minister.

Mr. Palashti underscored that in the Tatarstan-Hungarian business forum, he hopes to share experiences and discuss cooperation between Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and Hungary Investment and Trade Agency. He also added that the region has projects where may be interested in the Hungarian companies.

Istvan Iydyarto noted the prospects of cooperation between Tatarstan and Hungary, underscoring the interest in cooperation and joint projects.
