For Chinese businessmen hold a presentation of economic and investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan

At the meeting, which was held today at the Russian Embassy in Beijing, were invited the representatives of several Chinese companies from various industries.

«We are very pleased that we held a large-scale and very pleasant event in the Embassy», - said, opening presentation and welcoming the delegation of Tatarstan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in China Andrey Denisov.

Tatarstan is a unique republic of the Russian Federation, which, by its development level competes with many countries in the world and has impressive economic opportunities.

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov presented the Kazan Smart City project and told about the investment opportunities of the site.

The presentation of the Tatarstan’s industrial potential was made by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov. Advantages of SEZ «Alabuga» presented zone’s CEO Timur Shagivaleev. Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Information and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov presented «Innopolis» project. About the investment opportunities in the agriculture told Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov.

At the end of the presentation held a signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement on exports and imports of mechanical and technical products between the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Chamber of Commerce of China.

Today Tatarstan delegation visited the Chinese People's Association for friendship with foreign countries, the head of republic Rustam Minnikhanov met with the leadership of Chinese National Chemical Engineering Corporation, and held a number of meetings in the Russian embassy in Beijing.
