Kazan Smart City was discussed at the meeting on the development of the Strategy 2030

A regular meeting of the «Innovation, Information, Technologies» project was organized within the preparation to The Socio-economic development Strategy of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period up to 2030.

The working discussion was attended by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Information and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, Managing Partner of AV Group Alexey Krylov, representatives of the Tatarstan Development Corporation, business, profile and public research organizations.

They discussed the current state and development of the strategic priorities of the IT-sector in the Republic of Tatarstan, the progress of Strategy 2030. Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov told about the implementation of the strategy and development of Kazan Smart City. Among the main objectives of the projects indicated the creation of conditions for attracting investments into the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the enabling conditions for the promotion and development of perspective sectors of the regional economy, increase local business activity, the formation and development of the territory of Kazan Smart City, human and intellectual capital, creating a comfortable environment for work, living and recreation.

About the Innopolis and its development strategy told the JSC «Innopolis» CEO Igor Nosov. Participants also discussed the problems, objectives and priority tasks of development, potential measures to enhance the competitiveness of the Republican innovation system.
