On the SEZ «Alabuga» starts the production of «INTERSKOL» plant
«INTERSKOL-Alabuga» will produce reliable, modern, and most importantly, available hammers, drills, grinders, battery technologies, miter saws and more. Launch of Russian plant will provide up to 40% of import substitution in the industry.
Especially for the opening came the Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, «the face of the «Interskol» company» Nikolay Valuev. The event was also attended by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Zdunov, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, president of the Association of trading companies and manufacturers of power tools and small machines Boris Goldstein, Chairman of the JSC «Interskol» (Russia) Board of Directors Sergey Nazarov, Head of the Elabuzhsky municipal region Gennady Emelyanov, JSC «SEZ «Alabuga» CEO Timur Shagivaleev.
In October a new company plans to produce 48 thousand products, until the end of the year this figure is projected to reach 250 thousand products, and in 2015 – to reach 2 million, amounting to 10% share of the Russian market for the production of power tools.
Today, the factory held the groundbreaking ceremony for the second phase of construction of the «Interskol-Alabuga» plant. Its opening is planned for the III quarter of 2015.
