The Presidium of the Investment Council of RT: "entry point" for investment initiatives

In 2012, pursuant to the standard of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives of the Russian Federation was established Investment Council chaired by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The council includes 52 people. Since the creation of the organization held four meetings - Board meets annually. During this time investors have collected a lot of questions. Most of them are solved by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, another part requires the consideration of senior management of Tatarstan. To solve the latter has appeared a need to intensify the work of the Investment Council. The Presidium of the Council, consisting of 12 members, which will meet on a monthly basis with the participation of Rustam Minnikhanov, was created for being more mobile. The competence of the Presidium  includes functions related to consideration of specific proposals on improving the investment activity in the Republic of Tatarstan, possible legal initiatives in support of the investors, solving the local issues of major investors. The first meeting of the presidium scheduled for December 24, 2015. It will focus on the construction of facilities in the framework of implementation of investment projects, the work of individual municipal industrial sites, offers of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency on ratings to the state executive authorities of Tatarstan on the effectiveness of work with investors. And also to the members of the presidium will be presented high degree new investment projects. "I am very pleased - it is expected that the work of Presidium and Investment Council as a whole will be an effective tool for policy-making in the field of investment activity, effectively assist to the members of the Tatarstan Investors Club", become an entry point "investment initiatives," said Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.
