How international travelers become Tatarstan agents

On February 3, the State Committee on Tourism of Tatarstan Republic summarized the results of the work in 2015. Tatarstan Investment Development Agency First Deputy Chief Executive Insaf Galiev attended the meeting.

Chairman of the State Committee on Tourism of Tatarstan Republic Sergey Ivanov reported that inflow of tourists results in 12,1% average annual growth and 19,4% growth in sales in tourism. Increased tourist flow in the main tourist destinations of Republic averaged approximately in 36,8%, in comparison with previous year. According to the Federal Migration Service top five countries with biggest number of visitors to Tatarstan include Turkey, China, Germany, USA and France.

“It is extremely satisfying that tourist flow to Tatarstan is increasing annually. Often a hobby becomes a profession, moreover bringing considerable income. And every tourist, in fact, is a potential investor: as today  life of the republic has surprised and amazed him, then tomorrow, most likely, he will invest in it.  And even if not an investor, an advertisement agent of republic – for sure.  This is because he will be telling about our republic, a unique region of Russia, to his social environment, relatives and friends. Thus, the strong building of Tatarstan investment attractiveness is constructed brick by brick,” – believes Head of TIDA Taliya Minullina.
