“Have you got investment projects? Then, welcome!”

The Business Council under Tatarstan President which was established in December 2015 was presented to business community on February 10.  Tatarstan Investment Development Agency representatives attended the event.

“Our goal is to provide infrastructural, administrative, organizational and expert support and to assist in communication with government authorities” – said business ombudsman Timur Nagumanov, while introducing structure and functions of the new Council.  He explained to audience that the main aim of the new structure is business sector development and business environment improvement through involvement of public authorities and active part of business community.   Requesting authorities for information and materials and considering initiatives on changes in current legislation are among credentials of the Council.

It is good when business and government meet frequently.  At its core, the Business Council is one more bridge facilitating mutual understanding between government and business. Tatarstan Investment council is a kind of bridge for investors. If investor has a project or issue requiring senior republic officials’ interference, we bring them up for discussion at the Investment Council presidium meeting every month and that makes this government authority more mobile. Moreover, presidium is also responsible for consideration of specific proposals on investment activity development in Tatarstan, potential juristic initiatives in part of support for investors, finding solution for local questions of significant investors.   Thus, we shorten the way from business to government and make our region more attractive for investors” – said the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina.

Businessmen with proposals on investment projects with foreign investment turned to participate in the first meeting of working group on preparation of the Business Council under Tatarstan President. “Have you got investment projects? Then, welcome!”-  was heard from Agency`s employees into the microphone.
