Taliya Minullina compared Tatarstan with “smart house”
On March 11 Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Munullina took part in 16th meeting of Tatarstan State Council of the fifth convocation.
In first reading, deputies reviewed draft laws on making amendments into the republic laws on fire safety, crime prevention, roads and road activities, development of small and medium-sized businesses, physical culture and sport, freedom of conscience and religious associations and others. A bill on amendments to the republic law “On state awards of Tatarstan” was prepared for the second reading, providing possibility to confer the highest state award of the republic - the order “For contributions to Tatarstan well-being” - not only to individuals, but institutions also. This draft law was adopted unanimously with amendment of replacing the phrase “legal bodies” with “organizations and their divisions”. According to lawmakers, it will allow to expand range of labor collectives, encouraged with the State awards, the order “For contributions to Tatarstan Republic” in particular.
Today we reviewed a wide variety of issues: 42 in total, it is more than we planned initially. It is important that issue of protection of entrepreneurs` rights was raised. “Business and Government: an open dialog” project was set up particularly in our republic two years ago. Project was recognized as one of the best practices among business ombudsmen. Authorized Representative of the President of Russian Federation for Entrepreneurs` Rights Boris Titov recommended adopting such format to other regions. It is an indicator of government openness to business needs in Tatarstan. And for us working with investments, it is one more advantage and opportunity to say confidently to potential investors: “Come especially to Tatarstan”.
