Energy efficiency is one of the most crucial issues

In the morning of 15 March, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina participated in the opening of XVII International specialized exhibition “Energy. Resource Saving – 2016” at Kazanskaya Yarmarka.

According to organizers, the main goal of the exhibition was promotion of energy-efficient and resource-saving technologies and equipment at enterprises of various industrial fields.  Exposition aimed at resolving issues of alternative energy and energy efficiency. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed confidence that exhibition will give rise to development of cooperation between Russian and international partners.

This year, the event has brought together over 130 companies, businesses and research organizations from Russia, Germany, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Denmark, Slovenia, USA, Switzerland and Japan. Russian Deputy Energy Minister Anton Inyutsyn, who attended the opening, noted: «By the number of participants at exhibition and working program we understand that issue of energy efficiency is one of the most crucial as of today. It is a pledge in competitiveness of our country, a pledge of future development of Russia”.

Session of Tatarstan Government on the implementation of state program “Energy saving and increasing of energy efficiency in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2014-2020”, including results of work in 2015 and tasks for 2016, was held in the framework of exhibition after opening ceremony.
