15 March 2016, Tuesday

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina took part in a meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Russian Federation Primož Šeligo, held on March 15.

"We signed the Memorandum of Cooperation within the framework of the intergovernmental commission. Today we have the possibility to get equipment for our industrial and agricultural enterprises. It is very important to intensify work of our Chambers of commerce and industry. We are grateful that Slovenian Visa Application Centre is working in Kazan. I believe that despite current situation between Russia and Europe, we should move on to find mutually beneficial projects,” Minnikhanov said.

Primož Šeligo emphasized that Slovenia is interested in strengthening relations with Tatarstan and is ready to render assistance in implementation of joint projects. He invited Rustam Minnikhanov to attend international business forum in the capital of Slovenia – Ljubljana in April this year.

“We are cooperating in the field of telecommunications already; there is an interaction with KAMAZ and on car components. We could be worthy partners in tourism, agriculture and other areas. Slovenia is the only entity in the world that contains “love” word in its name, if to read in English: Slovenia. We will work in order to make this love for joint projects and investment» - thinks Taliya Minullina.
