Islamic Banking will guide Head of Ingushetia to Kazan

“Islamic finance system development would be helpful to Russian economy” – thinks the Head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Yevkurov. He will participate in VIII economic forum “Russia-Islamic World: KazanSummit-2016”, which will be held from May 19 to 21 in Kazan, in order to discuss issues of Islamic credit system development within Russia, to adopt the best practices in this sphere, to participate in business breakfast on discussion of “Russian banking system: hot to make it more comfortable for Islamic business”.

Tatarstan and Ingushetia have a close relationship, established in April, 2013 and set by an Agreement on trade and economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural cooperation.  Ingushetia culture days are held in Tatarstan and Ingush diaspora of a few hundreds lives in republic. Visit of a high-level guest, as a Head of Ingushetia – is an indicator of interest of world community, as well as Russian regions in Islamic banks system development” – reported Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.

Besides the point, Yunus – Bek Yevkurov often practices real-life communication: he communicates with citizens on the streets or holds a dialog through social networks.  Thus, according to MuslimEco survey, where more than 2000 respondents participated, mainly from Ingushetia, more than 75 per cent supported Islamic finance development in Ingushetia. Moreover, 10,5% of them noted that Islamic finance development will lead to economic growth and 13,8% said that establishment of such service would be important for growth of religious consciousness of Ingushetia citizens. “KazanSummit-2016” forum can become a platform for opinions exchange and real guidelines for action.
