Palestinian leader`s predictions come true

More and more member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation plan to visit Kazan. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Palestine to Russia Fayed Mustafa Khaled announced about his participation at the VIII Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit-2016."

"Russia's role in the Middle East is extremely important and useful, and we Palestinians welcome its increasing importance," – said the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on the meeting with Russian delegation in March this year. Earlier, on his last visit to Tatarstan in 2010, he seems to have anticipated today's cohesive function of KazanSammit Economic Forum: "Tatarstan is the best example of tolerance, it should become a bridge between Russia and the Arab world."

I think that Tatarstan as a well-developed agricultural sector republic will arouse special interest of the Palestinian guests, - said Taliya Minullina, the organizer of the summit and Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
