Economic Forum`s charity component

On May 20, during the VIII International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries "Russia - Islamic World: Kazansummit 2016" the VIII International Conference "Waqf in the modern world" will be held. Ministers of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Justice from different Muslim countries will participate in the conference. Thus, senior representatives from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Bahrain, Oman and Syria will meet in Kazan.

- “Issues to be discussed include, for example, investment in major Tatarstan’s projects through the Fund of Waqf Tatarstan Republic. It should be noted that the Waqf is the property or other tangible assets to be used for the benefit of people with a charitable purpose, and the social component of it is the basis of Islamic business. Presentation of "Innoko River" project is scheduled on the conference, its social component is the construction of waqf complex in Naberezhnye Chelny (a mosque, a madrasa, a MII branch office, a hotel, a shopping mall), and also investment in to the industrial park Chistopol, like restoration of mosques and madrassas Chistavy”- reported about the plans for the Summit Taliya Minullina, the organizer and Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive.

Another question is  waqfs` Cooperation, representing  interests of each other, that will strengthen services and trade relations with Islamic countries. In this way, we must organize export of Tatarstan halal manufacturers products on Islamic markets, high-tech Tatarstan halal medicine is ready to become the center of Islamic medical tourism. Due to the sanctions, the import of necessary products to Tatarstan from Islamic countries is also relevant.
