Economic strategy game "Invest in Tatarstan"

"How to increase the interest of young people in economic and investment activity? We regularly organize programs to ensure the creation of working and living environment in our republic and human capital development in home region. That is why special attention is payed to talented youth, who will take charge of the building of Tatarstan of the Future and become investors. And in this way, the idea of creating the unique game "Invest in Tatarstan" appeared", - the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina said.

The participants place their chips on the playing field "Alga!" - that's the way the game starts. This is an exciting economic board game, where participants buy, rent and sell their property, which are leading Tatarstan's companies from different spheres of economics:  from petrochemical field to food-processing industry. Such companies as "Zelenodolsk plant named after A.M. Gorky", PJSC "Tattelecom",  LLC "Just milk", "Ammonii", OJSC “Tatchempharmpreparaty”, «Bakhetle» comany, PJSC "Kazanorgsintez",  LLC "Gasprom Transgas Kazan", PJSC "Nizhnekamskneftekhim", PSC "TAIF-NK", Kama industrial park "Master", SEZ "Alabuga", KAMAZ Group of Companies as well as "Kazan Arena" stadium, Innopolis city, Kazan central railway station, technopark "IT-Park" and many others are represented on the playing field. The game imitates economic processes completely and consists of such stages as buying and selling of real estate, development of the territories, financial management. Education in entertaining form of competitive game develops strategic thinking and sharpens its application in practice.

So, today, the first youth tournament of "Invest in Tatarstan" game was held at Kazan Helicopter plant, in which the best students, graduates and activists of universities of Tatarstan as well as the employees of the plant took part. The tournament was organized by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency together with this important for Russia enterprise. Before the beginning of the game, Taliya Minullina told the participants about the structure of economy of Tatarstan, investment achievements and plans for republic's development, wished them success in business communication.

The tournament was attended by over 60 people who were divided into 10 teams. During the game the participants demonstrated their entrepreneurial skills, learned about new enterprises and industrial zones, got acquainted with each other. The students of universities of Kazan got acquainted with the basics of financial literacy. Such event allows to evaluate practical and theoretical knowledge of financial literacy of participants.

According to the results of the tournament, Azat Nazmeyev was called the champion as he managed to collect the biggest score. His prize is an internship program on the basics of investment activity in Moscow. Chingiz Gizatov was presented with a certificate to visit the showroom of Tatarstan of international class, and Diana Adagamova was chosen as "the Most Risky Investor" and was given the game "Invest in Tatarstan" as a gift.

According to participants, such meetings are useful for active youth and affect their further development in professional sphere. They also expressed desire for such tournaments to be held as often as possible at the territory of other enterprises of our republic. Excursion around the helicopter plant cannot but impress.

All this works for the future of the republic and forms the core of the staff for prosperity of Tatarstan.
