On February 14, 2017, the 27th International Specialized Exhibition "ChemTech 2017" started its work in Mumbai, the Republic of India. The official opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers and Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India represented by Honourable Minister Mr. Shri Ananth Kumar. Over 700 companies from 27 countries took part in the exhibition.
JSC "Export corporation of the Republic of Tatarstan", which is subordinate organization of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, organized united exposition of the Republic of Tatarstan, where the exporting companies were presented. "Betar" plant producing metering devices, "Master Klein" trade mark for the production of advanced polymer glue technology are among them.
As the strategy of Tatarstan 2030 calls for the dynamic development of education sector, the universities are also presented in the frames of exhibition stand of Tatarstan. Thus, the Institute of Chemistry of Kazan Federal University gave a presentation in the framework of the event in order to attract foreign students and to share experience in the field of science.
At the stand of the Republic of Tatarstan discussions on possible export supplies of Tatarstan products to the Indian market and the prospects for export development in general took place. Minister Counselor for Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in India Mr. Vladimir Nyhrikov visited Tatarstan's booth. Under his facilitation, the meeting with the CEO of "THOMAS BAKER PVT. LTD." Mr. Umesh Rastogi was organized, where a wide range of issues such as export supplies of petrochemicals, medical equipment, fertilizers, biocontrol, water and gas metering devices was discussed. The meeting was also held with the leadership of the Association of Indian Chemical Council, which includes over 40 thousand companies and deals with the promotion of petrochemical industry in the Republic of India. The prospects of supplying medical instruments by Tatarstan cluster to the Indian market were also discussed at the meeting. The negotiations with the Director General of Star Fine Papers Co. Mr. Hiren Karia were held on direct deliveries of republican innovative production.
The activity of Tatarstan in export of local products is accelerating every day both in volume and geography of the products supply.
