Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) studied the regions of Russian Federation in the field of building a dialogue with the business.
«Vedomosti» today published an article titled «Secret investor», where found that the regions do not help business. The article noted that ASI «secret investors» examined how regions work with the business.
Agency for Strategic Initiatives examined how regions perform «road map» and work with investors. The «road maps», approved by the Russian government, ASI has prepared together with entrepreneurs and experts. Total there are 11 «road maps», which reduce administrative barriers: simplification of licensing procedures in construction, energy and customs, as well as registering property and businesses, competition development, export promotion, facilitation of access of small and medium-sized businesses to purchase, improvement of tax administration and assessment activities. Their implementation should help Russia by 2018 to achieve the 20th place in the ranking of Doing Business (92th in 2013).
The medical-pharmaceutical sector and development opportunities of the republic’s medical cluster will be the subjects of the «Health in Tatarstan» roundtable, which will be held on March 5 in the II International Winter Forum.
Participants will discuss the results of the medicine modernization, the innovations on the localization of production in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals, as well as the issues of an innovative health care in Tatarstan.
The views on the prospects and challenges of the Tatarstan medical cluster production will represent such companies as LLC «Corporate Information Routine», JSC «Delrus» and LLC «Covidien Eurasia».
Students of the 6th year of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering (KSUAE) Dilyra Galiyeva, Lilya Muhamethanova, Gulnaz Samigullina and Daria Shaldymova at the meeting with Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov told about the projects on International Investment technopolis.
In discussing the diplomas also attended Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov, Tatarstan Development Corporation Architect Elmira Nizamieva and Lecturer in the KGASU Faculty of Architecture Design Anna Novikova.
Agreement on cooperation in the field of scientific and practical activities on the creation, participation and partnership in projects aimed at the implementation of Kazan Smart City research projects between the Technopolis’ operator - Tatarstan Development Corporation and KGASU was signed in July 2013. Under the signed document the sides agreed to intensify training and practice of the Republic of Tatarstan in attracting KGASU students and young professionals into the project.
The experience of public-private partnership projects implementation (PPP) will be discussed at the «Chaliapin Palace Hotel» site on February 25.
Seminar, co-organized by High School of Management of St. Petersburg State University and the «RISE Capital» fund, will be held in terms of preparation for the next meeting of the Tatarstan Investment Council. Investment Board, which is scheduled for March 1, will focus on the development of public-private partnership in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Professor of Department of Public Administration in High School of Management of St. Petersburg State University Svetlana Maslova will perform at «Experience of public – private partnership projects implementation» seminar.
This project will be implemented in the «Tyulyachi» municipal industrial site’s territory.
Under the leadership of Linar Yakupov in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency was hold the regular meeting of the Investment Commission, where was presented decorative PVC pellicle production. It was attended by independent experts, representatives of commercial banks, consulting, leasing, insurance and investment companies, state and municipal authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held with the participation of Head of Tyulyachi region Ildus Zaripov, Tatarstan Export Corporation CEO Ayrat Nazmeev, Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Ingushetia Yusuf Zurabov, the representatives of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI).
The project was initiated by LLC «HimInzhiniring». As company CEO Vadim Efimov noted, the PVC pellicle mostly used in furniture facades, windows and window sills, fabrication of suspended ceilings and doors. In 2013 the consumption of pellicle in Russia amounted to about 52 million square meters or 28 tons.
Experience of the bank on financing the automotive industry in Russia will be presented in roundtable «Local production of automotive components».
The event, which will take place in the first day of the II International Winter Forum «Invest in Tatarstan», will be moderated by the National Association of Automotive Components CEO Michael Blokhin.
Topics for discussion at the roundtable «Local production of automotive components» will be a key factor of the development strategy in the localization of automotive components, evaluation of existing procedures in procurement of components, necessary conditions and risks in the process of project implementation. In addition, will be discussed the best practices of Russian and international companies.
The meeting, which took place in the residence of Saudi Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in the Russian Federation, attended by 11 ambassadors and 7 temporary attorneys of Arab countries.

Saudi Ambassador of the Russian Federation Ali Hassan Jaafar, welcoming a delegation of Tatarstan, told that the Arab countries know the Republic of Tatarstan. He also underscored that he was in the republic during the III International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit 2011) and was personally convinced that «Tatarstan – one of the most developed regions of Russia».
Acceptance of applications for participation in «Invest in Tatarstan» Youth Ambassadors» program has begun.
Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and the Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum have begun the initiative of involving representatives of youth in creating a favorable investment climate in the Republic of Tatarstan, the promotion of investment opportunities in the region.
Program, aimed at the formation of a group of youth representatives to participate in creating a favorable investment climate in the region, international projects in the investment and business fields, also supported by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Academy of Youth Diplomacy.
Their participation in the forum already confirmed the representatives of 10 foreign countries, including Germany, India, Italy, UAE, Singapore, USA and Turkey.
Heads of international companies from around the world come to Tatarstan to explore investment opportunities and projects of the republic, to establish contacts with the authorities of the region. At the forum foreign visitors and local business leaders will discuss the aspects of doing business in Tatarstan and experience in investing in the republican projects.
The forum is interesting not only for foreign participants, but also to the representatives of Russian regions, such as Yakutia, Kamchatka, Nizhny Novgorod, Sverdlovsk, Samara and Ulyanovsk. At the forum «Invest in Tatarstan» will meet businessmen, international investors and heads of major international companies interested in cooperation and collaboration with each other.
