Today in the “Ernst & Young” (EY) Moscow office was signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the implementation of Kazan Smart City between Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, JSC "Tatarstan Development Corporation" and EY.

It was signed by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, EY Partner and practice leader of Telecom, Media and High-tech (TMT) Mikhail Romanov and JSC "Tatarstan Development Corporation" CEO Bulat Gayanov.

According to the document, the cooperation of the parties will be held in the framework of Kazan Smart City, where the parties will cooperate in such directions as advisory support and investment development of Technopolis.

Today in the Moscow business center "Mosenka Plaza" held IV Annual Conference and General Meeting of Green Building Council (RuGBC).

The event was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov and operator of Kazan Smart City project - Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov. Certificate from the Green Building Council was presented in the Kazan Smart City groundbreaking ceremony, held on October 2 during the V International Economic summit of Russia and OIC countries.

Conference «Green Mega Projects» consists from three sessions. Kazan Smart City – project of a green city will be presented at the first session. Together with the new investment platform of Tatarstan here will also be discussed such projects as the world's one of the largest theme park "Russia", "Logistics complex" Radumlya" and the joint creation of AEDAS (United Kingdom) and BI GROUP (Kazakhstan) “Green Quarter-EXPO Village” project.

The diploma awarded in the 13th specialized exhibition "DorTransExpo", which was held from October 8 to 10 at the Exhibition Center "Kazan Fair".

The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan and "Kazan Fair" exhibition center.

At the exhibition, devoted to the development of road and transport infrastructure, including the design, construction and maintenance of roads and road facilities, transportation, services, logistics, JSC "Tatarstan Export Corporation" represented "Kama" Trading house".

The exhibition "DorTransExpo" was attended by 66 organizations from Kazan and Tatarstan, 10 Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Togliatti, Ufa, Samara, Ivanovo, Ulyanovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don and foreign countries: Belarus, Brazil, the UK, Germany, Italy, China, Korea, USA, Singapore, Northern Ireland, Turkey, Czech Republic and Sweden.

Today, the delegation of Buryatia visited Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, where met with TIDA First Deputy Chief Executive Robert Galiullin and Tatarstan Export Corporation First Deputy CEO Aidar Abdrahmanov.

Delegation of the Republic of Buryatia is in a three-day visit to Tatarstan, which will last until 12 November, 2013. In Kazan international airport guests introduced with new terminal 1A and got acquainted with the work of intermodal transport.

At a meeting in TIDA representatives of the Republic of Buryatia acquainted with the investment potential of Tatarstan and its experience in the promotion of the republic in the world. There also was presented the main tasks and objectives of Agency, its activities, as well as Kazan Smart City project.

Business Day is aimed at senior management and leaders of high-tech companies in the industrial sector of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as innovative start-up companies, interested in attracting investments.

The event, organized by "Himgrad", held on November 12 at the site of Technopolis. As part of the business day 3M Corporation’s leading technology experts will present the using of innovative technologies for enhancing the capacity of high-tech industries. Tatarstan Nanotechnology Center experts will hold consultations on all stages of the creation of innovative products and financial expertise for start-up companies.

At the head of the delegation is Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.
The delegation includes
First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ruslan Kabirov and TIDA Head of investment promotion Wyatt Ford. The trip will last from 5 to 9 November. During the visit the delegation is going to visit New York City, Memphis and Washington.

Today was a meeting with Polish entrepreneurs, representatives of"Tatarstan" Trade House in Poland and "Business Center "Lodz" in Kazan.

It was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Deputy Chief Executive Insaf Galiyev, Tatarstan Export Corporation First Deputy CEO Ildar Abdrahmanov and Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov.

During the meeting, the Polish delegation was provided by the information of the activities of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, Tatarstan Development Corporation, Tatarstan Export Corporation, the Kazan Smart City project, Tatarstan's investment opportunities, industrial sites and parks in the republic.

The delegation is led by the Netherlands Foreign Trade and Cooperation Development Minister Lillian Plumen and Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport Edith Schippers.

Today, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan has opened a series of bilateral meetings between enterprises of the Netherlands medical industry and Russian companies. The purpose of these discussions is to establish business relations and search for potential business partners.

Netherlands companies in Russia will visit two cities - Moscow and Kazan, and visit is scheduled for the period from November 5 to 8. The purpose of the visit is exploring the potential cooperation between Netherlands and the Russian Federation.
The delegation includes the medical sphere of the Netherlands, whose activities are related to the designing health facilities, the production of medical equipment and consumables
, diagnosis of diseases, research activities, management of disaster and emergency situations.

The delegations of the French region of Provence - Alpes - Cote d'Azur, headed by the First Vice-President Patrick Allman visited Tatarstan. They explored investment opportunities of Tatarstan Republic and investment platform Kazan Smart City.

The presentation took place in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. The meeting was attended by TIDA First Deputy Chief Executive Robert Galiullin, TIDA Head of investment promotion Wyatt Ford, First vice -president for International Affairs of the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur Regional Council Patrick Allman, Pole "Pegasus" Director of International Affairs Jean-François Boisson, Plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the French Republic Iskander Yusupov and others.

It was noted that the purpose of the delegation’s visit to Tatarstan is to introduce with trade-economic, industrial and investment potential of the region, to study issues of cooperation with enterprises of the republic in the field of innovation, aerospace and IT technologies.
During the visit, representatives of the French region will also meet with the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, representatives of the Tatarstsan Ministry of Information and Communication, Tatarstan Ministry of Economy and Kazan State Technological University.

Visit of the Htoo (Myanmar) companies delegation in Tatarstan will last from October 31 to November 2, 2013.
This morning the chairman of Htoo Mr. Tay Za met with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. President of Tatarstan in September visited Myanmar on a working visit, during which discussed the prospects and possibilities of cooperation between the two republics, and also the organization of the Myanmar representatives visit in Tatarstan. In Myanmar, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Chambers of Commerce of the Republic of Tatarstan and Myanmar was signed.

At today's meeting with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Tay Za said that during the visit to the Republic Myanmar delegation would like to see the trade-economic, industrial and investment potential of Tatarstan and explore areas of cooperation with enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of mechanical engineering, aerospace, petrochemical, shipbuilding and Information technology.
