Within the Fifth International Investment Forum «Industrial Projects in Russia», which will be held July 3-4 in Moscow, Tatarstan will present its industrial parks.
Among the participants such large objects as industrial park «Kamskiye Polyany», SEZ «Alabuga», «Himgrad» technopolis, «Tchistopol» and KIP «Master» industrial parks. During the forum will be presented detailed profiles of industrial parks, which will give understanding to the basic development trends.
The Forum 2014 will bring together about 700 delegates. The main theme of the plenary session, which will be held throughout the first day of the Forum, will be the state support of investments in projects of industry, including the development of industrial parks. State systematically expanding its presence in the field of industrial infrastructure, mainly supporting regional initiatives and private developers to build industrial parks.
This year, from June 30 will be working summer urban and city planning school under the guidance of Miguel Robles-Duran and his colleagues as part of Kazan Urban Forum.
The school will be organized jointly with the Institute of Governance and Territorial Development of Kazan Federal University (KFU) and will last until July 11.
Last year, Miguel Robles-Duran has come to Kazan and performed a public lecture at the Kazan Federal University.
Business Breakfast «Portrait of Russian regions. Integration of the Russian regions’ economies into the global system» with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan opened in June 5 the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit2014).

Executive Director of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) Bronzatto Carlos became the guest of honor at the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit2014) and presented at a special session on best practices in attracting investment.
The session of institutions development with representatives of investment promotion agencies and Development Corporations of Tatarstan, the Republic of Mari El, Ulyanovsk, Kaliningrad, Altai discussed investment promotion and brand-building regions and the country as a whole, investment, advertising and information campaigns. Mr. Bronzatto, in particular, noted that the organization of a large PR-information campaign of a particular region is quite expensive.
Unified brand of the region as a multifaceted resource of development was discussed at a roundtable during the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit 2014).
Representatives of brand territories creating participated in discussion and shared their experiences and opinion about why the brand of Tatarstan is so successful.The discussion was moderated by the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Tourism Sergey Ivanov. A key theme of the Strategic Forum in this year is a food security. Noting the importance of the stated theme, Mr. Minnikhanov noted that the problems of food security raise the need to look for new solutions. For example, in the case of shortages of land and water potential, lack of adequate resources. The President noted that in this case the cooperation with Russia, especially with Tatarstan is needed.
Interest in active cooperation with Tatarstan, one of the fastest growing regions of the Russian Federation, UAE Economy Minister Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri expressed in the Tatarstan-Emirati Business Forum which was held in within the KazanSummit 2014.
United Arab Emirates have become a country of honor at the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries. In the republic's capital to participate in the KazanSummit 2014 has come a representative delegation of the UAE. At the forum, which was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, sides discussed prospects of mutual investment cooperation between Tatarstan and the United Arab Emirates.
Ildar Khalikov in his welcoming speech said that the UAE – one of the most dynamically developing countries. In the country, said the Prime Minister, work Tatarstan companies, among which «KAMAZ» is the most active. Last year in Dubai was opened Trade and economic repesentative of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Meeting of Mintimer Shaimiev and Saud Abdullah Al Mahmoud held during the visit of the Qatari delegation to the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries – KazanSummit 2014. Together with Saud Abdullah Al Mahmoud the meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Qatar Sultan Al Khater.
