Today with representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting under the supervision of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Tatarstan Ministries, Tatarstan Development Corporation and the Tatarstan Export Corporation.

Today Tatarstan has 21 offices in the Russian Federation and abroad, including Kazakhstan, Turkey, France, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and other countries.
Opening the meeting,
Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov underscored TIDA’s activities.

During the meeting was noted that "according to the Program of socio- economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2011-2015, the volume of foreign direct investment per capita is expected to grow to $ 1,500 by the end of 2015 (in 2012 the figure was 151 U.S. dollars)". To achieve this goal, noted TIDA Chief Executive, is necessary, in particular, to strengthen the work with the representatives.

Appointment of the Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation for the post of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan agreed on the eve in the Tatarstan State Council.

The proposal for the appointment of Ravil Ahmetshin as Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan was unanimously supported.

Plenipotentiary Representative Office in Moscow and Tatarstan Investment Development Agency actively engaged in attracting investors to the territory of the republic. In particular, on June 27 of this year, was opened a series of TIDA’s investment seminars on priority development issues. The first seminar represented branch of engineering and automotive components.

In Tatarstan Investment Development Agency held a second meeting on foreign direct investments in the Republic of Tatarstan, which was attended by representatives of ministries and departments, the municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as representatives of the "SEZ Alabuga" and "special economic zone "Innopolis".

 The meeting discussed a number of proposals relating to the investment of Republic’s niches to attract potential investors.

"Today, one of the most important objectives is to increase the volume of foreign direct investment, - said Linar Yakupov. - According to the program of socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2011-2015, adopted by the State Council of Tatarstan in March 31, 2011, the amount of FDI per capita is expected to grow to $ 1,500 by the end of 2015".

Today, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency representatives met with a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), headed by the President of the bank Suma Chakrabarti.
The meeting was attended by the TIDA First Deputy
Chief Executive Robert Galiullin, Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov, Managing Director of EBRD in Russia Natalia Khanzhenkova, Head of the EBRD on the PFD Catherine Solovova and others.

As part of the visit to the Republic of Tatarstan, the EBRD delegation has already visited Naberezhnye Chelny, production plants of "KAMAZ" special economic zone "Alabuga" and met with Prime Minister of the Republic Ildar Halikov. The meeting was held this morning in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.


During the second day of the forum, participants will discuss the investment policy of the regions, the creation of competitive advantages, as well as investment in cultural heritage, social projects.

Forum opened by His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent, who is the patron of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce (RBCC). With him on the stage presented the Ambassador of Her Majesty the Queen of Great Britain in the Russian Federation Tim Barrow.

At the "Creating competitive advantage in the region" plenary session performed Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov. Agency Chief Executive will tell about the experience of Tatarstan in the promotion of the investment potential of the republic in the international markets and the interaction with foreign investors.

The forum is aimed to identify key areas for the development of Russia's investment policy, to present business conditions in the different sectors of the economy, as well as demonstrate the investment potential of Moscow and Russian regions for foreign investors.
Today, the capital of the Russian Federation opened the Second International Foreign Investment Forum, which will be held in Moscow on October 23-24. It is organized by the Government of Moscow.
At conferences and round-table participants will discuss the issues of increasing the flow of foreign investments in the Russian capital and protecting the interests of investors.
The event will gather over two thousand delegates from around the world.

The conference center of Jakarta (Indonesia) on December 19-21will held the 3rd International Indonesian Halal Business and Food Expo.
The main purpose of the event – is to promote halal products and the "Islamic business" as well as the popularization of the Muslim way of life. The exhibition will include the expositions of Islamic art, creativity and fashion.

Today completed its work the XII All-Russian Forum "Strategic planning in the regions and cities of Russia: building a system", which was attended by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Forum has been held annually since 2002 and is considered to be the main place of the discussion the methods and tools for strategic planning, the most important issues of the strategic plans implementation.

The two-day forum program consisted from 25-30 actions. The organizers of the actions was the Federal Ministry, leading international and Russian consulting and expert organizations, including the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today Finnish business delegation visited Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. Delegation included the representatives of 12 Finnish companies operating in the production of building materials, chemicals, fittings, appliances, electrical equipment and chemical raw materials for various fields of industry.

Finnish businessmen as part of trade and economic mission will stay in the Republic of Tatarstan from 21 to 24 October. During the visit they plan to visit professional agencies and major companies of the republic. The organizers of the mission are the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Finnish-Tatar Chamber of Commerce.

Today auto brand factory in Tatarstan held a ceremony, dedicated to the starting of Ford Kuga, which will be produced on a full cycle technology.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, Ford Sollers President Ted Kannis, Ford Sollers joint venture Executive Director Adil Shirinov, General Director of JSC "Sollers" Vadim Shvetsov, as well as a special guest - the Chairman of the Ford Board of Directors William Clay Ford.
