Visit of the President of Senegal
The acting head of the Tatarstan Development Agency Insaf Galiev made a presentation on the economic potential of the Republic of Tatarstan during a visit to the IT park by the Senegalese delegation led by President Macky Sall.
Insaf Galiyev began his greeting of foreign guests in French, during the presentation he noted the investment attractiveness of the region.
Over the years, Tatarstan products were supplied to Senegal: KAMAZ vehicles, helicopters produced by KVZ. There are good prospects in the field of mechanical engineering; petrochemicals; Agriculture; innovative industries.
The Republic of Tatarstan today is one of the leading and industrially developed regions; the oil fields of the republic have been developed since 1943. In total, over 35 million tons of oil were produced in Tatarstan last year. In addition, petrochemistry and oil refining are developed in the republic. Tatarstan also produces cars, airplanes, helicopters, ships, engineering products, and about half of industrial goods are exported.
