There is one month left before the start of the International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum", and the final stage of preparation for the event is underway. Today, Taliya Minullina, Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, made a presentation on the topic "On the preparation of the business program and organization of exhibition activities within the framework of the XVI International Economic Forum: "Russia - the Islamic world: KazanForum" at the meeting of the organizing committee of the forum in Moscow.

She held talks with members of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) and members of the Association of Businesswomen of Indonesia (IWAPI). One of the topics of conversation was their participation in the May forum "Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum.", the organization of the Russia-Indonesia round table at the event and the opportunity to participate in the session "Women's View".

A wide range of issues were discussed during the Forum.: trade and export, energy, advanced technologies, agro-industrial complex, creative industries, tourism, science and education, prospects for cooperation between the Russian Far East and Indonesia, and much more. 

The Forum hosted a plenary session and industry-specific thematic discussions. Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, addressed the meeting. An important event at the Forum was a multidisciplinary business mission of Russian companies under the auspices of the Russian Export Center, which took place on April 14-15.

Today, Taliya Minullina, Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as a member of the Russian Public Committee of UN-80, spoke at the first meeting of the committee. The event was hosted by Anatoly Torkunov, Chairman of the Russian Association for the Promotion of the United Nations, Rector of MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The investment project, which was approved during the meeting of the Investment Council chaired by the Rais of Tatarstan on September 6, 2023, the construction of a multifunctional complex with a congress center on the territory of the Kazanka River embankment on Sibgat Hakim Street (Kazan) is being implemented in full swing.

A large proportion of the foreign investments that came to the republic last year were from China! 11 new companies with Chinese capital were registered in Tatarstan in 2024. 10 companies from China invested in Tatarstan last year! Active work on strengthening ties with China continued during the visit of Taliya Minullina, Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, as part of the Tatarstan delegation to Chongqing province.

Today, Aliya Minnullina, Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, as part of the republic's delegation headed by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke at the Tatarstan-Chongqing business forum.

The delegation of the Office of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Shandong Province of the People's Republic of China paid a working visit to the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan. Rimma Ishkulova, an employee of the TIDA, introduced the guests to the investment and economic potential.

Ishtiaq Ahmad Gilkar, Head of the Center for the Development of Cultural Relations between Tatarstan and India, paid a working visit to the Agency for Investment Development of the Republic of Tatarstan today. Taliya Minullina, the head of the Agency, met with him. Natalia Kuchumova, an employee of the AIR RT, also attended the meeting.

A series of conferences with Russian trade representatives in foreign countries for the development of external relations of the Republic of Tatarstan continues. Last week, meetings were held with the country's trade representatives in Egypt (Alexey Robertovich Tevanyan) and Slovakia (Stupar Sergey Kuzmich).
