The XV International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World” has ended. 87 countries of the world and 87 regions of Russia took part in it, 151 business sessions were held, 120 agreements were concluded. Hundreds of business meetings were held between business representatives from Russian regions, government bodies, educational institutions, delegations from countries around the world - Belarus, Oman, Libya, Iran, Turkey, Tajikistan, UAE, Qatar, Malaysia, India, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and other countries.

Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, called KazanForum a platform that brings Russia and Muslim countries closer together.

"Thanks to the forum, we have become even closer with our colleagues - Muslim countries. What does this closeness give us? I can say that last year our trade turnover with the OIC countries increased by 30%. We have had more tourist exchanges, we have started to supply more products to these countries, we have started to receive more of them in Russia. More than 20 thousand people participate in the Forum, it is more than last year. We even have new regions coming with their investment programs, looking for investors. We have more than 120 agreements signed, and these are specific agreements, business processes are already working", - said Marat Khusnullin.  

This year the Forum reached record figures, the number of registered participants exceeded 20 thousand, 87 countries of the world and 87 Russian regions were represented.

The TIDA employees as part of the Tatarstan delegation are right now in China, Harbin at the VIII Russian-Chinese EXPO and the IV Russian-Chinese Forum on Interregional Cooperation. They present the achievements of the republic, actively promote its investment opportunities, introduce participants and visitors to the culture and traditions of the region, and also establish relationships between Tatarstan and Chinese businesses.

The Agryz municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan reported on the implementation of measures to ensure sustainable socio-economic development within the framework of the republican meeting chaired by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Within the framework of the session “RUSSIA – ISLAMIC WORLD: INTERNATIONAL INTERREGIONAL ACTIVATION”, the head of the Republic of Mordovia Artem Zdunov expressed gratitude to the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina for organizing the KazanForum.

The session was devoted to discussing international practical experience in the development of family entrepreneurship as one of the key brands of any national economy for domestic and foreign markets, existing problems and challenges in the development of this sector of the economy, tools and mechanisms of state support.

The best services for investors were discussed within the KazanForum by representatives of investment agencies around the world at an off-site meeting of the NAIR.Global platform.

During the session, speakers discussed the role of traditional values ​​in shaping future generations in a changing world, and identified the attitudes and fears that young people are "guided by" when making important decisions in life. Experts also highlighted the role of modern technologies and intercultural characteristics in raising children and young people using the example of state and international programs and projects in the field of culture, education and youth policy.
