The meeting was held within the the working visit of Rustam Minnikhanov and the delegation of the region in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

During the meeting were announced the cooperation in the field of education, in particular, assistance in the opening of a KNITU branch at a university in Vietnam, increasing the quota for students from Vietnam.

The document was signed during the meeting of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the delegation of the Republic and Vietnam business community.

Document was signed by the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Agueyev and Chairman of Chamber of Commerce of Vietnam Vu Tien Loc.

For Rustam Minnikhanov and the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan made a presentation about the establishment of the center and the ongoing research. The center was established in 1987, has two branches in the cities of Ho Chi Minh and Vetchi.

The parties discussed the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of industry, increasing the volume of trade turnover between Vietnam and Tatarstan as a region of the Russian Federation.

The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the field of education and science within the further strengthening of Russian-Vietnamese relations.

The fair will present the producers of halal products from Tatarstan, Mari El, the Kirov region and other nearby regions of Russia. The purpose of the event – is to provide the population with quality products at affordable prices, support for halal producers and promotion of healthy nutrition and promotion of «Halal».

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov came to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam with the two-day visit (8-9 September 2014).

The cooperation between India and Tatarstan has been expanding rapidly since the agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technological and cultural cooperation between the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh and Tatarstan was signed in November 2003. The pact was in line with the efforts being made by India and Russia in promoting regional level cooperation between the two countries.

In April 2010, Andhra Pradesh and Tatarstan signed a Memorandum of Understanding for promotion of joint ventures (JV) in diverse areas, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, gas-based industries, power plant equipment, bio-technology and IT. During his last visit to Tatarstan in May 2014, India’s ambassador to Russia P.S. Raghavan identified pharmaceuticals, information technologies, transport especially automobile, petro-chemicals and tourism as the sectors with considerable potential for enhancing bilateral cooperation. Currently, India’s imports from Tatarstan include synthetic rubber, trucks, helicopters, and instrument-making products. The Tatarstan import consists mainly of medical products, food, raw materials and equipment for the food-processing industry. According to INFOLine information agency, in 2013 India was among the top five trading partners for exports of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting was held at the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, it was attended by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gimatdinov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.

Welcoming the guests, Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan today as one of the industrialized regions of Russia have established contacts with the serious business of the Chinese People's Republic, representatives of many Chinese companies are already held their activities in Tatarstan. Head of the region said that Tatarstan companies also had a large number of business trips to China.

In the opening ceremony participated President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Energy Deputy Minister of Russia Cyril Molodtcov, RTN Deputy Chief Executive Svetlana Radionova, Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Baymurad Hojamuhammedov, President of the Union of Oil and Gas Producers of Russia Gennady Schmal.

Traditional Tatarstan Oil and Gas chemical forum held in Kazan in 3 to 5 September. The forum is attended by 216 companies from Russia and foreign companies from 14 countries.
