Executive Director of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) takes part in the discussions of the second working day of «Public-private partnership» Training.

Carlos Bronzatto arrived in Kazan the night before and today joined the WAIPA seminar, where is presented the international best practice in the field of public-private partnership (PPP), and discusses issues in PPPs and investment with Russia's regions.

For the first time in Russia in several regions of the country will start a series of business conferences for owners and managers of shopping malls, hypermarkets and supermarkets, brokers and media representatives.

From September to November 2014 conferences on «Mall of the Future» will be held in Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don, Chelyabinsk, Perm and Ufa. Organizer of a series of business activities is the «Ekbpromo» Consulting Group with the support of the Knight Frank international consulting company.

The main objective of the «Business-Success» National business award is the search for the best projects in several categories, as well as the best practices of the business environment at regional and local levels in order to replicate them in a systematic manner.

In the competition, which is held by the All-Russian public organization «OPORA ROSII» and NGO «Agency for Strategic Initiatives to promote new projects» with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation may participate municipalities, non-profit and commercial organizations, individual entrepreneurs registered and has activities on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) has started to form a set of best practices on creating a favorable investment climate in the region. Best practices will be selected based on the results of the National Ranking of investment climate in the regions of the Russian Federation.

To date, five expert groups formed in the rating’s key areas: connection to the power grid, obtaining building permits, support small business, financial incentive tools, institutions for business.

Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) with the participation of non-commercial partnership «Leaders Club» and associations of entrepreneurs has launched a survey to assess the effects of the implementation of the National entrepreneurial initiative’s «road map» (NEI).

The implementation of the NEI has started 2.5 years ago and was designed to radically change the conditions of doing business in Russia. Entrepreneurs have an opportunity to identify administrative barriers and initiate changes in legislation. As a result, in the ASI site was developed 11 «road maps», which are then approved by the Russian Government. In total, it is about 160 laws, 50% of which have already been adopted by the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

Assembly participants were more than 300 delegates from around the world. The program of activities included participation in the plenary session of the International Youth Assembly in the UN headquarters in New York, visit the diplomatic missions of the countries under United Nations, a cultural evening where participants presented their country and culture.
