Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov and the Plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation Ravil Ahmetshin discussed a prospects of cooperation between Cemtx (United Arab Emirates) and Goetzpartners (Germany) companies with the Republic of Tatarstan.

During the meeting Cemtx representatives said that the company for the first time enters in the Russian market in order to open on the Russian territory its own enterprise. Cemtx produces patented water resistant cement with a unique crystalline structure, which allows in a short time to reach the required strength of the material. The company noted that happy to meet with the leadership of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and Moscow representative of the Republic of Tatarstan. They also expressed interest in cooperation with the Republic.

The German company GoetzPartners interested in the work of attracting strategic and financial investors in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today in the plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation held an investment seminar on "Engineering and manufacturing of automotive components". The meeting was organized in Moscow by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and the Plenipotentiary Representative of Tatarstan in Russia.

Seminar on Engineering and production of automotive components is the first from a series of TIDA’s off-site activities in priority areas of the Republic of Tatarstan. Recall that in Tatarstan identified eight priority areas for development: chemical and petrochemical industry, mechanical engineering and automotive components manufacturing, information technology and telecommunications, construction, building materials and furniture, medicine and pharmaceuticals, processing of agricultural products, halal industry, service industries and tourism.

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency with the Representative office of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation begins seminars about priority fields of development in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Should recall that in the Republic of Tatarstan is identified eight priority fields of development: chemical and petrochemical industry, mechanical engineering and automotive components manufacturing, information technology and telecommunications, construction, building materials and furniture, medicine and pharmaceuticals, agro-processing, halal industry, service industries and tourism.

The first "Engineering and manufacturing of automotive components" investment seminar will be held in the representative office of Tatarstan in Moscow on June 27.

Today in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency was a meeting between TIDA, Tatarstan Export Corporation and MATRADE (Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation).

The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, TIDA Deputy Insaf Galiev, Tatarstan Export Corporation main specialist Maxim Vinokurov, Trade counsellor MATRADE Hairul Nizam Munier and his assistant Hafiz Shariff.

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov told to the MATRADE representatives about  visit of the delegation led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in Malaysia in January 2013 and recalled the progress made during the visit arrangements.

Today in the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Federal Center of Project Finance and Tatarstan Investment Development Agency signed an agreement about cooperation.

According to the document TIDA and Federal Center of Project Finance will cooperate in organizing a financing of investment projects, implementation of which is planned on the territory of the Tatarstan Republic on public-private partnership in a number of directions.

During the meeting Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive and Federal Center of Project Finance representatives discussed questions of joint projects about creating agro-service centers, infrastructure development of «Smart City Kazan" and implementation of residential facilities on the investment platform’s territory. The parties also agreed to exchange information at the initial stage of cooperation.

Linar Yakupov presented the results of the working visit of the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2013) through the work of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency to journalists at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

At the briefing also toke part The Assistant of the President on Economic Affairs Ayrat Khayrullin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Minister of Information and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Zdunov.

Representatives of Siemens visited the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency (TIDA) today.

TIDA First Deputy Robert Galiullin and  Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov participated in the meeting. Participating in the meeting from Simenes were Head of Strategy and Business Development in Russia Carsten Hasbach, Volga Region Director Shamil Faizrahmanov, and Director of City Account-Management Development Harriet Korponay.

As Carsten Hasbach explained, Siemens' visit was in part to learn more about the Repbulic of Tatarstan, particularly the developments that have been made in Kazan Smart City.

TIDA and Siemens signed a memorandum of understanding in September 2012 regarding using the company's technology in the realization of Kazan Smart City.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Tatarstan Investment Devleopment Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov met with Thomson Reuters President of Financial & Risk and Managing Director of the Middle East, Africa & Russia Basil Moftah today at the 17th Annual St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The 17th Annual St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) opened today in Russia's so-called northern capital. at the LenExpo Center. The central theme of this year's forum is "Global Economic Perspectives: Time for Action."
