Linar Yakupov takes part in the 13th session of the Russian-Korean joint commission on economic and scientific-technical cooperation.
Thirteenth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission opened today in the capital of the Republic of Korea - Seoul. The Russian delegation was headed by the Chairman of the Russian part of the Joint Commission, the Minister of the Russian Federation on the development of the Far East - Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Far Eastern Federal District Viktor Ishayev. At the head of the Republic of Korea delegation - Korean Chairman of the Joint Commission, the Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Planning and Finance of the Republic of Korea Hyun O Sok.
Today with Euronews Director of Sales Gilberto Gribado met Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.
The meeting was also attended by TIDA Head of investment promotion department Wyatt Ford, Representative of Russia & CIS Euronews in Moscow Dmitriy Obryadov and General Director of “Idel-press” Rishat Hasanov.
Gilberto Gribado said that he arrived in Kazan on the occasion of the Universiade 2013, noting that the Republic of Tatarstan cooperates with Euronews TV channel from 2006. He also added that Euronews has produced and aired the video about the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan as a candidate to host the World Summer Universiade.
Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov in an interview with Thomson Reuters Trading Russia Internet portal at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2013) described the impact of the Summer Student Games on the investment climate of the republic.

Thomson Reuters Trading Russia: Linar Gabdelnurovich, Russia has a lot of activities such as the Universiade in 2013, Sochi 2014, FIFA World Cup in 2018. Is there any demand for the Universiade?
Linar Yakupov: "The Summer Universiade hasn’t been in Russia for 40 years. Holding XXVII World Summer Universiade 2013 here in Russia, in Kazan - is an important step for the development of university sports and a solid base for the Olympic movement..."

Today in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency was a meeting of TIDA Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov and representatives of the French company Schneider Electric.
They discussed the development of a partnership with Schneider Electric in participation the implementation of a new investment platform of the Republic of Tatarstan - "Smart City Kazan". In particular, the company has expressed its willingness to provide a number of high-tech services to create the concept of a unified monitoring and management of engineering networks and constructions "Smart City Kazan”, the concept of power of the "Smart Grid". Schneider Electric is also ready to develop a catalog of requirements for buildings and structures of smart homes in the investment platform and their integration into a "Smart City Kazan" single management system.
During today's meeting representatives of Schneider Electric noted their interest in expanding the sphere of influence of their company on the Tatarstan Republic territory, the participation in the "Smart City Kazan" project and invited the heads of TIDA Linar Yakupov to visit their production platform, located in close proximity to the project.
Registration certificate of the "Tatarstan Export Corporation" was issued by July 1, 2013.
“Tatarstan Export Corporation" created by an initiative of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and oversees the promotion of enterprises - exporters of the Republic of Tatarstan in promoting their products to the markets of the Russian Federation regions, near and far abroad and other foreign countries, strengthening the image of the republic as a reliable economic partner.
Recall that the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan has decided to privatize the State Unitary Enterprise «Tatarstan agency of International cooperation under the Cabinet of Ministers” to OJSC “Tatarstan Export Corporation”. Work on the creation of "Tatarstan Export Corporation" was held by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and the Ministry of Land and Property Relations.
Today in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency was a meeting between Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov and Tatarstan Republic sales representative in the U.S Ravil Nigmetzyanov.
The meeting was also attended by General Director of the Tatarstan Development Corporation Bulat Gayanov and TIDA Head of investment promotion department Wyatt Ford.
During the meeting to Ravil Nigmetzyanov were presented a new investment platform of the Tatarstan - "Smart City Kazan" and the main clusters of the project.
"I heard about the "Smart City Kazan” project, followed the dynamics of the investment platform from the side and saw the possibility of participation of U.S. companies in this project, "- shared Ravil Nigmedzyanov.
Today Tatarstan Investment Development Agency held a meeting with representatives of JSC "Russian Export-Import Bank".
The meeting was attended by TIDA First Deputy Robert Galiullin, TIDA Deputy Insaf Galiev, TIDA Head of development and examination of investment projects department Guzel Mullayarova, General Director of Tatarstan Export Corporation Airat Nazmeev, EXIMBANK Head of investment projects and cooperation with international financial institutions Department Yulia Leshevskaya.
During the meeting TIDA First Deputy Robert Galiullin told to the representatives of “EXIMBANK of Russia” that Tatarstan Investment Development Agency is working in the field of investment, implementation of investment projects, public-private partnerships. Robert Galiullin also claimed about creation of Tatarstan Development Corporation and Tatarstan Export Corporation.
The first participants’ meetings of the competition about creating a model of the new investment platform of the Republic of Tatarstan - "Smart City Kazan” - will take place tomorrow at 19 o'clock in "Idea" Technopark.
Should recall, that competition, organized by the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and Tatarstan Development Corporation, started on the 15 june 2013. The competition is open to all comers and creative people, who is interested in the architecture. Creating a model has its own requirements: it must be made with using recyclable materials, such as cardboard boxes, newspapers, magazines, plastic, wood.
The signing took place during the meeting of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov with the rector of the Kazan State Architectural University Rashit Nizamov.

The agreements, reached at the meeting, participants signed in the cooperation agreement between JSC "Tatarstan Development Corporation " and the Kazan State Architecture and Construction University. Document was signed by Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov and rector of KSUAE Rashit Nizamov.

The meeting was also attended by Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov, Head of supporting and monitoring of investment projects department Arthur Nigmatulin, Tatarstan TIDA Head of attracting investment department Wyatt Ford, President of China Telecom in Russia Liang Liang. From Jason Partners Consulting company the meeting was attended by Project Manager Yuri Ishmaev, Executive Director Sergey Shavkunov, Acting CEO Eugeni Pligin and Commercial Director of the Russian representation Alexander Tsiganov.
For the representatives of China Telecom and Jason Partners Consulting has been given a presentation of the investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan, updated with information about the advantageous location of the republic and its proximity to the territory of the other regions.
